SUMMARY:2026 LCMS National Convention
DESCRIPTION:The 69th Regular Convention of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod is being held July 18–23\, 2026\, in Phoenix\, Arizona. \n\nThe convention theme is “Christ Is Risen Indeed\,” based on 1 Corinthians 15:20–22: “But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead\, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death\, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die\, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.” The convention will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center in downtown Phoenix.\nOnline orientation meetings for NOW District delegates are scheduled for Wednesday\, July 8\, at 7 p.m. and on Saturday\, July 11\, at 10 a.m. Click here for more info!\n\n  \nResources and Info: \n\nLCMS Presidential Candidate Q&A available: The five candidates for president were asked to respond to six questions developed by LCMS Communications. Read their answers here.\nTravel Expense Voucher\nPlease book your flight and submit your itinerary to Laura Baker no later than June 18.\n\n\nImportant Convention-related dates:\n\nFloor committee weekend: May 29–June 1\, St. Louis\nPresidential voting: The LCMS Presidential election\, conducted by Yes Elections (formerly Election America)\, will take place by electronic ballot between June 6–9\, with run-off elections June 13-30 if needed. Congregations have until May 29 to make any necessary changes to their existing voter registration.  About one week prior to the election\, Yes Elections will send (via U.S. mail) information to all voters regarding the voting process\, the candidates\, and the code numbers needed to participate.\nPre-convention floor committee meetings: July 17\, afternoon\nFloor committee open hearings: July 18\, 8 a.m.–12 p.m.\nDelegate orientation: July 18\, 1:30 p.m.\nOpening worship: July 18\, 7 p.m.\nConvention proceedings: July 19–23.\nConvention close: July 23\, 12 p.m.\nInstallation of new officers: Sept. 18\, St. Louis.\n\n\nMore information about the 2026 convention will be shared here as it becomes available.
