LAMP Ministry Inc. is currently seeking a rostered church worker to be called into the position of staff missionary. As a partner in LAMP’s ministry team and guided by its strategic plan, you will have the responsibility for developing and implementing an annual program of work for your area of responsibility. Your focus would be divided to fulfill the identified strategic services which are:
- spiritual witness and nurture within communities, and
- spiritual enrichment realized by donors and volunteers
It is understood that LAMP is an international organization primarily serving the people in remote northern communities of Canada. It strives to invite partners in northern missions serving as volunteers and supporters from southern Canada and the USA. Three to five years of experience in this type of cross-cultural ministry is preferred. Your primary residence does not need to be in the communities of responsibility, but 13-15 weeks per year will be spent serving in northern Canada.
