Christmas Greetings from the NOW District!
In Isaiah 52:7, Isaiah’s voice rang out, “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news.” Good news, when it is the good news of Jesus, is Gospel. It is the good news of forgiveness for our sins. It is the good news of a savior from sin and death. It is the good news of salvation. On Christmas, the Gospel came to us. The angels proclaimed “good news of great joy for all people” (Luke 2:10) on that first Christmas night because the Savior of the world was born.
In light of that good news, from all of us in the Northwest District Office of the LCMS, Merry Christmas and Happy Gospel Day!
