There may be no greater single element contributing to resilience as a leader than a robust peer network of support and encouragement.
With more than 50 Youth and Family Ministers (DCES and other leaders “on point” in congregations), the NOW District has a long heritage of team ministry in congregations to support children, youth, and families in the faith. Youth and Family Ministers (led by the Encourager Team, Advisory to the President), build a network of support across the NOW District through peer small groups, leadership coaching, and retreats and professional development conferences.
