2026 LCMS National Convention

July 18 - July 23

The 69th Regular Convention of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod will be held July 18–23, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Online orientation meetings for NOW District delegates are scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, July 11, at 10 a.m. Click here for more info!

 

HOTEL CONFIRMATION NUMBER and ROOMMATE Sent Via Email on June 30
Delegates, you received an email on June 30 with your hotel confirmation number, your roommate assignment, your arrival/departure dates, and other important info. Please be sure that the confirmation matches your travel itinerary. If you do not see the email, please check your spam or junk folder first. If you still don’t find it, please contact Laura as soon as possible so we can get the info to you. The Northwest District delegation is staying at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix (340 N 3rd Street, Phoenix, AZ  85004).

IMPORTANT – LATE ARRIVAL CUTOFF TIME: If you do not arrive at the hotel by 11:59 p.m. on the day you are scheduled to arrive, the hotel will cancel your room for ALL of the days of the convention. If you do have travel delays, to prevent room cancellation, please call the hotel at 602-262-2500 to notify them.

BREAKFAST MEETINGS: We will host three breakfast meetings at the Convention, starting at 6:15 a.m. with food provided on:
Sunday (7/19) – Convention Center – West 101AB (joint breakfast – PSD hosting with NOW & CNH Districts)
Monday (7/20) – Sheraton Downtown Phoenix – Deer Valley Room
Tuesday (7/21) – Sheraton Downtown Phoenix – Deer Valley Room
Breakfasts will start bright and early at 6:15 a.m. Please be seated with your breakfast by 6:30 a.m. as we enjoy a daily speaker and time for sharing. If your spouse is attending the convention with you, he/she is invited and encouraged to attend the breakfast with you.  There will not be a breakfast meeting on Saturday (7/18), Wednesday (7/22), or Thursday (7/23).

  • Pre-convention floor committee meetings: July 17, afternoon
  • Floor committee open hearings: July 18, 8 a.m.–12 p.m.
  • Delegate orientation: July 18, 1:30 p.m.
  • Opening worship: July 18, 7 p.m.
  • Convention proceedings: July 19–23.
  • Convention close: July 23, 12 p.m.
  • Installation of new officers: Sept. 18, St. Louis.
The convention theme is “Christ Is Risen Indeed,” based on 1 Corinthians 15:20–22: “But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.” The convention will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center in downtown Phoenix.
