LWML Washington-Alaska District Convention

June 21 @ 7:00 pm - June 23 @ 12:00 pm

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) Washington-Alaska District invites you to the 34th biennial convention to be held in Everett, Washington, June 21–23, where attendees will be “Strong in the Lord” as the strength provided from the Lord Jesus empowers us to serve Him in word and deed.

The convention starts with a communion service at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 21, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Everett, Washington (2521 Lombard Avenue). The convention continues at the Delta Hotels by Marriott — Seattle/Everett (3105 Pine Street, Everett) the morning of Saturday, June 22. Donna Snow, who published her latest Bible study, Unshakable, partnering with LWML, will lead the Bible study. Keynote Speaker Kim Wagner, member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Bellingham, Washington, will have an unforgettable message that will challenge and motivate us to be “Strong in the Lord.” You will hear from Mites in Action Speakers Andrea Krook of the Children of the Nations and Rev. Dr Paul Krueger of Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch who will tell us how our mite offerings impacted their ministries.

There will be a little bit of business, Saturday night entertainment, and time to see old friends and make new ones.
