Six Mission Minutes: Salvation in the Flood

In Psalm 69, David lifts his prayer to the Lord because the waters are up to his neck. It happens to all of us engaged in mission on behalf of Christ, whether we are volunteer congregational leaders or professional church workers. In some seasons, we all feel like we are overwhelmed in a great flood.

The Lutheran Confessions encourage us to grab on to the Gospel like a tree branch in that great flood and hold onto grace in the torrent of strong waters until the deluge recedes. This Six Mission Minutes, filmed on location in Idaho, highlights two of our Boise area ministries and the ways you can be a rescuer for another servant of Christ in the midst of that flood.
