A Choir is Being Formed for Northwest District President Von Behren’s Installation on
May 26
Lend your voices! Incoming Northwest District President Michael Von Behren’s
installation will be held at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church (6700 NE 29th Ave., Portland, OR
97211) on Sunday, May 26, at 7 p.m. St. Michael’s Cantor, Dr. William F. Kuhn, is forming
a choir for the event. Dr. Walter Krueger is organist for the event, and there will also be a
brass and timpani ensemble participating.
We would like to invite anyone who is able to participate in the choir. Music will be sent out
ahead of time. A rehearsal will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. on the day of installation to
pull everything together. If you would like to participate, please contact Sharon Carlson by
May 15 at scarlson@stmikeslutheran.org. You will need to give her your name, email
address, and voice part.
